I am a very patient Math tutor who is dedicated to improving my student's skills. I tutor Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry and Geometry. I have tutored for 21 years. I tutor Math Regents Exams, GED Math, SAT Math, and the Catholic High Schools Entrance Exam. I passed all three parts of The National Teachers Exam on the first attempt. I scored highly on the GRE practice units, particularly on the Math portion, where I obtained 90% correct. I also found that strategies I employed for the verbal questions helped considerably, for both antonyms and analogies. Finally, I excel in Writing, as I incorporate correct sentence structure with proper grammar, and create well-developed essays.

He has meet with my 9 year old son who is in the 4th grade for the last two Saturday's for 1 hour. Initially, I asked that he help him with word problems and review work he has done for the week. This past week Timothy identified that my son needs to review subtraction such as 1,000 minus 9,999. My son recently had a test and scored a 90. My son and I were both excited!!! He will be meeting with Timothy until he takes the state exam then resume at the end of summer or September. I am happy with my son's progress even in this short time.
